All Aboard! Carillon Park to Host Rail Festival in June

Dayton has a lot of history when it comes to trains and railways, and an event later this month plans to celebrate all things rail.

Carillon Park Rail & Steam Society is set to host the Carillon Historical Park’s Rail Festival on the weekend of June 24 – 25. The two-day event features miniature train rides, steam engines, historical displays and model train displays, as well as rides on the full-sized Carillon Park Railroad for an additional charge.

Admission for the event is $14 per adult, $12 for seniors 60+, and $10 for children 3 years and older. Admission is free for Dayton History members and children age 2 and under. Free parking will also be available.
