David Bowie Would Have Been 71 Today

David Robert Jones (8 January 1947 – 10 January 2016), known professionally as David Bowie, was an English singer, songwriter and actor. He was active in, and a leader of popular music for over five decades. He was acclaimed by critics and other musicians for his innovative work. Bowie continually reinvented himself and explored different musical styles, performance presentation, and musical alter egos. He sold an estimated at 140 million albums worldwide. Bowie was inducted into the the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.
