Dayton Battle of The Bands Kicking Off Thursday

If you aren’t aware of how great the Dayton music scene is it’s time to pull your head out of the sand. This year’s Dayton Battle of the Bands (DBB) at The Brightside Music & Event Center is bigger and better than ever before. In previous years rock bands ruled the stage, but this year you can enjoy a different genre every week. Rock, R&B/Hip-Hop, Folk, Jazz & Blues, Funk, Americana/Country,  Reggae, Ska and more. For music lovers like us, this is literal music to our ears! Don’t recognize the bands? Now is your chance to check out new, hot, local original music! Yes please! Kicking off this Thursday 1/12/23, DBB runs six weeks with a different genre every week. (Check out the bracket below) One winner each week will move on to the finale March 11th for their chance at the grand prize, an EP session at Dayton Sound Studios and a spot on stage during the Levitt Pavilion 2023 concert series!
