When doctors told Nikki Puzzo to dress her daughter in blankets after surgery, she wondered why there wasn’t a better option. Her daughter, Stella, has cerebral palsy and had double hip surgery which left her in a cast on both legs with a bar between them.
She devised a solution of pants that fasten down the legs which turned into an adaptive clothing company called befree.
