Athletic Director Nate Baker said “Nyla is a natural born leader. She is a high-character person and a great teammate. She is a 4-year Varsity letter recipient and has committed to playing Basketball at Bowling Green State University.”
Principal Jeffrey Berk noted, “Nyla is a true representation of a student athlete. Not only does she excel on the basketball court, but also in the classroom and community. We are honored to have Nyla represent Wayne High School as the Penn Station Athlete of the Month!”
