Triangle Park in Dayton Set For Massive Improvements
Triangle Park is the largest city owned park in Dayton, and the city is pumping more than $500,000 into upgrades for the park.
The city made the announcement this week that more than half of a million dollars would be devoted to upgrades in the park. Not all of the upgrades mean building new structures though, as a big chunk of that money will be used to take down old and obsolete structures.
The money is part of the $138 Million that Dayton received as part of the federal rescue funds.
The Dayton Recovery Plan has taken on a lot of big projects and many are ready to see improvements to Triangle Park. The work is schedule to begin soon, and should be finished by July of 2023. Some of the projects at Triangle Park are listed below.
- Removal of 9 shelters and 1 restroom
- New Fitness equipment, picnic tables and improved pathways
- 2 new park shelters
- New modular restrooms
There will be other projects inside the park that will be announced as the work begins.
